After the devastation wrought upon the Earth by Magneto, the future for humans and mutants alike became a bleak prospect.
One hundred and fifty years into the future the former hero known as the Beast plots from his island stronghold of Transatlantis the domination of the world. To attack his enemies he created a new race of beings from the genetic material of his former teammates the X-Men, giving them a form mimicking that of the teleporter Nightcrawler, and dubbing them appropriately Crawlers. |
